What about the Milan Design Week?

Milan Design Week, an Italian Tradition

The Salone del Mobile Furniture fair, the world’s most important design event takes place in April at the Rho fairgrounds, where design lovers, industry’s key players and the curators convened to discover and unveil the latest product and furniture releases from around the world.

This event (which has become an Italian tradition) was born in 1961 with the aim of promoting the export of furniture and gaining a foothold on the international scene.

The Design Week appears to be a festival that covers all corners of the city attracting the interest of the whole world. The reputation of this event has grown becoming a platform for new talent, a unique crossroads and international relations with the aim of going beyond, discovering and thinking about contemporary design. A blend of the best in every creative sector that is unrivaled in the world’s design events.

FuoriSalone and Milan Design Districts

Conceived to turn design and some of the leading brands active in the sector into the protagonists of various areas of the city – known as Design Districts – the Fuorisalone event includes themed events, exhibitions, pop-up shows, performances, presentations, concerts, DJ sets and special projects related to the world of design, furniture and innovations in living solutions.

One of the things the we love about the Fuorisalone is that in the design shops and showrooms it will be possible to discover new and young talents of world design, where the re-use of objects by creating a new life has brought out new talents and design geniuses.
